The 14th edition of HKTDC Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) has greatly opened on 27th, October. Nearly 2,300 exhibitors from 37 countries and regions have joined the big event. In addition, there is also a wider range of nationalities among buyers, with nearly 60 countries and regions represented and over 70 buying missions taking part.
The exhibition has featured several zone, such as Hall of Aurora which is a sophisticated environment showing branded products to the best advantage in a handsome setting. More than 430 brands, including Cree, Philips, Panasonic, Citizen, Seoul Semiconductor, Viri Bright, Neo-Neon, OPTILED,SUNSUN Lighting,LEEDARSON have shown their new products.
LED & Green Lighting Zone is set up for catering the strong demand for LED, energy-saving and other environmentally friendly products. Other zones also including commercial lighting, household lighting, outdoor lighting and so on.
In addition, vistors can find new highlights to support their sourcing efforts this year, as the fair has introduced areas focusing on advertising lighting and smart lighting. And batteries, transformers and drivers are featured in a subsection of the Accessories, Parts and Components zone. And buyers hoping to test markets before ordering larger quantities can take advantage of the Small-Order Zone, new to the fair.
LEDinside has observe that ,compare to the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition 2012, the area for each exhibitor divided by the Hongkong exhibition is smaller, and there is no the publicity of music and dance, but actually a competition for lighting technology. To attract more buyers, the exhibitors either show their certifications or products which combine with creativity element, even some traditional crystal lamps manufacturers have utilized LED as lighting resource, to cater for the demand of energy saving. For example, Chinese company SUNSUN Lighting has showcased green flower porcelain LED lamp, which can handle the brightness by touch control. The beautiful appearance combining with smart lighting makes the lamp popular.
